Guidelines
Guest Guidelines for a Great Stay
At Jellystone Park™ Cleveland/Sandusky, our guests are known for their kindness, courtesy, and family-focused spirit. These shared guidelines help keep the park safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming environment for all campers.
Wristbands
-
All registered guests must wear their park-provided wristband during their stay. Wristbands help us keep amenities and activities exclusive to guests.
-
Guests without a wristband may be asked to check in at the Ranger Station before entering attractions.
Campfires
-
Campfires are welcome in the designated fire ring at your site.
-
Please keep flames at a safe, manageable height—no bonfires.
-
Fire bans may occur during extremely dry conditions.
-
To protect our trees from invasive pests, outside firewood is not permitted. Firewood and color-flame packs are available at the Ranger Station.
Respecting the Outdoors
-
Please store food, coolers, and trash securely, especially overnight.
-
Our team provides trash pick-up during store hours—place tied bags at the end of your site.
Enjoying Responsibly
-
Guests 21+ may enjoy alcohol at their campsite.
-
Please use a koozie or non-breakable container when walking around the park.
-
No glass containers in or near aquatic areas.
Welcoming Visitors
-
Visitors are welcome and must register at the Ranger Station upon arrival.
-
Visitor fees may apply depending on time of arrival and activities.
-
Visitors must wear a guest wristband and follow all campground guidelines.
-
All visitors must depart by 10 PM.
Pets & Four-Legged Friends
-
Pets are welcome in RV sites and pet-friendly cabins. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing a pet so we can book an appropriate accommodation.
-
Limit two pets per site unless approved.
-
Pets must remain leashed and attended—no solo adventures or outdoor pen enclosures.
-
Please pick up after your pets to keep the park clean.
-
Pets are not permitted in tent sites, pool areas, or food service locations.
-
If a pet exhibits aggressive behavior toward others, owners may be asked to make alternate arrangements for everyone’s safety.
Service Animals
-
Individually trained service animals are welcome throughout the park.
-
Service animals must remain under control at all times, on leash or by voice command.
Keeping Things Clean
-
Ground disposal of gray or black water is prohibited by state law. Please use your site hookup or the dump station only.
-
Sewer connections must be tightly sealed with a proper donut/ring.
-
Generators are not permitted—our full-hookup sites provide everything you need.
Family First
-
Children have the best experience when supervised. Please keep an eye on little ones at the pool, lake, playground, and activities.
-
Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at water attractions.
-
After dark, carry a flashlight for safety; no bike or scooter riding after dusk.
-
Helmets are required for kids riding bikes, scooters, or similar wheels.
